The only time that a burn permit is not necessary is when there is snow cover.  At all other times:

When you need a Burn Permit, you will also need the following information:

1. Name and address or Township Fire Number.
2. County and township where burning will take place.
3. A description of the materials to be burned.

If the above steps are not followed, a ticket could be issued and you will be held responsible for ALL DAMAGES and SUPPRESSION COST.
